NIGHTVISION
NIGHTVISION BASSIST DEAN HOCKING KILLED IN CAR
ACCIDENT IN THE EARLY HOURS OF 27TH DECEMBER 2012
With deep sadness we regret
to announce that Nightvision bass player Dean Hocking has passed away
in a car accident in the early hours of Thursday 27th December. The
accident occurred near Sleaford, Lincolnshire where Nightvision is
based.
Our thoughts & deepest
condolences go out to Daryl Hocking, Dean's brother & fellow band
member (drummer), as well as the rest of his family & friends. Dean
was an exceptional & gifted young bassist with his own style, greatly
admired by his peers & an integral part of the Nightvision sound. At
Rocksector we have been proud to release 2 excellent albums for
Nightvision - their debut in 2009 "As The Lights Go Down" & a
follow-up with 2011's "Consequence Of Sin".
Dean will be hugely missed
& always remembered with affection not only for his skills but also
for some great times on the road where his sense of fun & thirst for
life came to the fore.
